A WEDGWOOD JOHN SKEAPING BEAR.This is a very impressive bear by John Skeaping.It measures 7" high on a 7.5" by 3.5" base.It is in excellent condition and carries the Wedgwood R made in England backstamp.It has a small chip to the base and this just shows on one edge.The bear has been priced to reflect this. This bear would still make a great addition to a collection of Skeaping figures. |

A WEDGWOOD SEA LION BY JOHN SKEAPING FROM THE 1930'S.This very attractive seal has the Wedwood and Skeaping impressed marks in the side of the plinth showing it to be from the 1930's.It stands on a 9" by 7" base and is 8.5" high.It has age crazing which adds to its attraction and is in very good condition with just a little roughness to the glaze in places.A very nice rare item. |
